This quilt is w...Maureen and I are thinking alike. This quilt is wonderful--a definite beauty. I like the stencil, something a bit ornate and curvy to fill in the border beautifully. Echo stitching would fill in the extra space as if it was planned that way from the start, and after all that work, I wouldn't want the stitching to disappear. I vote for cream colored thread as well.
