September already!

Here is the August block from the BOM that I am doing with my guild. Only 3 more to go.
I have only one more basket block to make and I will have all the blocks ready to piece together for the pink and brown quilt. I'm excited to put them together but... my sister's baby is due Nov 1st so I will work on that next. I have a pattern, I have fabric, and the blocks should be fast and easy - I'll post about it soon.

My kids have been back in school for a whole week already! It's hard to believe that fall is right around the corner. I want to make a fall wallhanging for my front entryway. I've done some drawing but when I'll find time to make it I don't know. So many quilts to make... so little time.
Happy Quilting!!!

That is a fantastic block...where is the pattern? Your piecing looks wonderful and I do love your little scribbles of new quilts.

Good job on your block! I also really like the one in the last post you just finished hand-quilting. I always feel such relief when a quilt is finished!

more free time now that your children are back in school? That drawling looks like a wall hanging i have seen before....it reminds me of thimble berries. I love pumkins.
