I do not need another new project but I just couldn't help it. I bought a Dresden plate ruler and I was just itching to try it out. I blame Kim Walus and her project on the Moda Bakeshop blog and KarenDianne for tempting me into this. :0)
It was very fun to see this come together so far. I wonder how big of a quilt this will grow into?
Happy Quilting!!

Oh, that's really pretty. Can't wait to see more.
I love Dresdens, Janet - should be beautiful!

I really love the Dresden quilts and some day I want to make one. I'm not that good yet. Your's looks really nice and I'm excited to see how big it becomes too! Cindy
Oh, there is always something new to tempt us, isn't there!
Wonderful dresden! It looks so perfectly pieced and I love the fabric!!
That same post prompted me to buy a template as well. I've begun a mini dresden plate in pinks for a new grandbaby coming in April. After that I want to make those Dresden Plate chargers in fall colors for my next Thanksgiving table and maybe try to make them reversible with Christmas fabrics on the opposite side if it isn't too complicated. I love chargers...they dress up a table so nicely!
Your workmanship is steller... this will be a nice quilt!
I love dresden plates. One day I am going to make a quilt with them too. Have fun. Great way to use scraps.
Holy Oh My Gosh Wow!!! What a beautiful Dresden. Look at those fabrics and the perfect balance as well. What a great stash you have and what BEAUTIFUL work you do. Thank you for sharing and including me, too! Golly. :)
Those are some pretty color combos
I did the same thing this weekend! It seems like it will be a large quilt rather quickly with the size of the blocks. Are you doing you applique by machine or hand? Fun choice of mixed colors.
