Sweet Carolina

I took a break from working on ufo's and made this little top.
It's from AP&Q's latest magazine. Before my copy even arrived in the mail I knew I wanted to make it after seeing the picture on the blog Quilt Hollow. It sewed up pretty quick. My leaves ended up being the reverse of the pattern because I just did the applique by hand. A small mistake :0)

Happy Quilting!!

So pretty! I've had my eye on that pattern too and can't wait to try it. It would be perfect for a gift.

Like anyone would notice the "mistake" if you hadn't pointed it out! It looks great...

Whoa! Oh my gosh you're so inspiring and as for the leaves.. I didn't notice that at all. I was so taken with the entire piece. It's beautiful.

That quilt immediately drew me, too. You got right to it, and made a really nice rendition!

just precious. Love the colors and the design. And, no one would know the leaves were in the reverse order if you hadn't mentioned it. Besides, who cares. It's your quilt and I say, it's gorgeous.

Janet, it is lovely. I have had my eye on that one, and now I think I will have to find some time to actually sew it. Thanks for sharing.

It's precious! I can't wait to make this little beauty---it caught my eye as soon as I got the magazine out of the mailbox and was flipping through it as I walked to the house. :)
