flowers

There is still some stitching going on here in the evenings :0) I finished another block for my Bird of Paradise quilt.

It's block #12. I have to confess it's not my favorite but with 20 blocks in the quilt every block can't be a favorite.

My garden is starting bloom - roses, bellflowers and peonies. It makes me smile every time I look out the window :0)

Happy quilting!!

It sure is a lovely block and well done! I like your fabric choices. A lot. The blue vase is stunning, the buds are stunning and I really like the balance of the red petals. The reason I personally love this block is the pink! I am loving the pink fabrics. Pretty.

Oh WOW! lovely flowers, I particularly love those red daisies... Janet, your work is so amazing: well done! :)
happy to hear you are having flowers blooming: I'd love to see your peonies. Mine have long passed out in this heat! LOL

Weell, I think it is very pretty but I know what you mean about blocks not being a favorite. When you are working on so many there is bound to one that you don't like as much as others.

I think the block is lovely but I can relate to what you've said about favourites. It's another block down, yay.

I love applique blocks, and this one is beautiful. You will have a beautiful quilt when all the blocks are done.
