I have been very disciplined and have stuck to working on the same 3 projects so I have nothing exciting to report or show for myself. However, this weekend my DD#2 did some sewing on her project and completed another block.
She is making these from a bag full of discarded little triangles. The hst's finish at 1 inch. She's doing very well for a 10 year old! I get to be the proud Mama :0)
Happy Quilting!!

Outstanding, I wish I had the patience for 1 inch square half square triangles. The block is really cute, bright cheery colors. Good Job!
She does better than this 60 something quilter would do!! Congratulate her for me, she has more perserverence than I ever had. Those blocks are beautiful!!
Wow, those blocks are great. You should be so proud of your 10 year old!
Gosh Janet, I'm loving the blocks and utterly moved by the young talent that's growing up with you. How special for you both! Thank you for sharing this delightful part of your life. *karendianne.
She is doing a great job...and only ten?! Wow...
Looks like mama has been a good teacher. What an achievement for a 10 year old. Well done mama's DD.
It looks like your young daughter is off to a wonderful quilting life - so precise! And a great pattern too.

Wow what wonderful block! She should be very proud of herself..there are many that wouldn't tackle such a complex block!

You both must be so proud!

Wow, very nice blocks! How fun to work on a nice project together.
Congrats Mom & DD#2! Janet, you're a very good teacher. I'm sure it won't be long until she's quilting butterflies instead of cute triangles..! ;)
Those blocks are terrific for any age quilter! Please tell her I think she is doing very well. Love that block, btw.
