I have had so much fun making these log cabin variation blocks from Lori's quiltalong. I had quite the pile growing so it was time to start putting them together so I could decide how big to make this quilt.
I think a generous throw size is what I am aiming for. Big enough to be cozy for a nice nap on the couch. (not that that happens very often :0) I have 15 rows of 8 blocks sewn together. I want to make it 3 blocks wider yet but I thought I would show you my progress.
Happy Quilting!!

I love this log cabin set. This is going to be a nice cuddle, sleep on the couch quilt. Pretty colors, I think log cabin blocks are just plain old fun to make.
I absolutely LOVE it! Even if you don't take a nap under it you can stay warm while watching evening television.
Great quilt top...I love your arrangement.
That looks so good! I love how it zig zags.
Your blocks look wonderful. It is so fun to see this done in a big quilt. I love the movement and the pops of red.
have fun at the sew day!
Oh I LOVE this!! What a wonderful idea, to take a small quilt and just keep making it grow into one large enough to use---I want one too. ;D
