decision, decisions...

I am having trouble choosing border fabric for this runner.  I have lots of the blue and I found the green at the LQS today.  Originally I was going to use a fairly solid peach but it was too strong and took over the blocks.
I was hoping to be using this runner by now.  I would be most grateful if you would tell me what you think.  Which border fabric would you choose?
I thought after taking pictures of the options I would be able to decide as that sometimes can help.
I hope you get a chance to do some stitching this weekend  :0)
Happy Quilting!!

I like the blue...makes all the other colors pop out. Very pretty table runner.

That will be a very nice table runner. Have you tried that brown print or the red print that you've used in the block. Maybe a stronger contrast print would work. I'm sure you'll pick the right one.

I like the green border, it doesn't take away from the blocks, which are so great!

The green...although something more subdued would look good too...like a simple pinstripe print.

I like the green border too.

My vote is for the green. It looks very springtime & fresh. The blue over powers & says, "look at me!" - imo.

I too vote for the green. The border fades to the background and the flowers shine :0)

Odd ball me says blue! I think the blue border makes the blue in the block pop. Whatever you choose will be magic once it is done. You have a very good eye!

I'm an odd ball like Marcie - I like the blue. :-) It's beautiful and will be even more beautiful with whatever color you choose.

I vote for the blue - its very pretty and accents your quilt. I think the green is too light. Getting a lot of sewing done this weekend - so fun!

Boy, I don't think we are any help at all. I like the blue.

I'm in the blue camp too. And not just because the other choice is green. :)

The blue pulls out the colours from the flowers and is a stronger contrast. The green looks nice but it is a softer contrast with the border and pulls the green in the background.

If I only had the two choices, I'd choose green, but what ever you do will be wonderful! it always is!

Isn't that what's awesome about quilt making, there are no right or wrong answers, only what pleases your own eyes.

I love the nosegay block! I'm probably way too late to put my 2 cents in, but I like the blue!

Some day I want to hand piece enough nosegay blocks for a wall hanging...one of my all time favorites!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)
