I'm always so excited to add a newly finished panel to my Susan McCord vine quilt! :0)
I don't suppose this looks all that different from the last time I posted it after attaching panel #6. But, it is growing and now I'm more than 1/2 way to a finished quilt.
I can imagine it finished, quilted and draped over the bed. Maybe in a couple of years... :0)
I still find it to be such a relaxing and fun project to work on.
6 more panels to go.
I'd love to get started on panel #8 but I will take a little break to make the last block for my Bird of Paradise quilt. Watching Jane's progress with quilting hers makes me eager to get mine to that stage. I think that designing the borders for it will be fun too.
Happy Quilting!

Woo hoo! Officially more than half way is huge.
I hope today is a good, non-grumpy day with lots of daytime sewing.
Wonderful!!!!
I love, love, love your quilt! The original is one of my all-time favorites but this project looks so daunting to me. Today I finished block #4 of my lollipop project so I understand just plugging away and eventually being rewarded on these time-intensive designs. Yay for progress!
Such a huge project - and looking wonderful! I love the photo of all the quilts in the bedroom - a beautiful room.

I know exactly how you feel. Every strip added is a wonderful feeling. I'm finished now after 8 strips and it's all quilted too. Yours is looking great.
Wow, it looks more amazing with every strip. It's gorgeous. I must get back to mine quick smart.
OMG, this is an amazing quilt top! Half way...at the rate you are going, it will be done in less than 2 years! I have always loved this quilt since I saw the original at the Henry Ford Museum. It is on my bucket list...I find myself wondering if the pieced leaves will work with my applique method...hmmm...it would not be the same quilt without the charming pieced leaves...
In stitches,
Teresa :o)

Wow! I am so impressed that you are sticking with this very daunting project! Very inspiring watching your progress!
