I finished my cover-it-up coffee table runner.
I even fussy cut a little birdie for one of the stars :0)I did very simple machine quilting. The more hand quilting I do the less I like my machine quilting!! Oh well, I can't hand quilt everything and this quilt will get used hard in its spot on the coffee table.
I love the intense fall colors of this little quilt. As you can see we don't have a lot left outside anymore...
It almost completely covers the top of the table, the worn spots are well hidden and the drawers on the front are easily accessible. Done!
Happy Quilting!!

Beautiful! I love the brilliant colors in your quilt.:)
I love the colors and what a great idea and quilt! I hand quilt most of my quilts, I agree about machine quilting, comes in handy but it isn't the same, anyway mine isn't.
It is truly GORGEOUS
it is gorgeous! love the colors.
So pretty!
It turned out really nice! Love your finish. Your Bird of Paradise blocks are gorgeous too - it all looks wonderful!
Didn't it turn out well! and you finished that so quickly too.
Absolutely gorgeous! The colors, the design... everything about it!
Wonderful runner. Nice colors too.
Wow, absolutely love your runner, great design and the fabric colors explode on my computer screen, can only imagine the colors in person.
This quilt initially looks simple but there is a lot going on. I love the reds you chose for the border and the black background. There is a bunch of movement in the center part and then your eye can relax as it absorbs the border one block at a time.
I just love the way this turned out, but then, I knew that it would be great.
I love the rich colors too. This quilt really glows!
What a clever way to cover the table top.
The big stars are my favorite part, I'd never think of using them on the borders - so great!
p.s. how was I not a follower until this morning?
You are one of my favorite bloggers! xx
Beautiful job! Love the design and the colors!
Such great colors!!
Your table runner is brilliant in both the rich fall colors and as a solution to your coffee table coverup. Your quilts are always so inspirational.
