arranging blocks

I finished all 9 of these blocks already. This was the perfect project for those few minutes here and there when I can sit down at my machine.
Now that I can see all the blocks together the busy background ones don't bother me anymore.

Now I can have lots of fun deciding how to arrange them :0)
This 2nd picture was how I had planned to lay them out but now I'm leaning toward the top arrangement.
I suspect this project will push ahead of the small stack of "waiting to be quilted quilts" It's a fun, happy quilt and I want to finish it asap so I can start using it.

Happy Quilting!!

What a fantastic little quilt!! I think I like the top setting better. It's a little more relaxed and goes with the feel of the blocks. Beautiful!!

The blue backgrounds were a good choice. Makes the stars pop.

What a beauty - I like the second arrangement, alternating dark and light backgrounds makes the blocks stand out individually.

I like the first arrangement better too. It looks more scrappy and random and none of the blocks seem to have priority.

I love the blue background, they make the stars sparkle. I like the top too, it looks more random and the lights seem to draw the eye to those lighter blocks more in the second photo.

Oh, they are very pretty. I am leaning toward the 2nd photo but I see others like the first better. Your quilt!

What a perfect quilt! I like the top arrangement better too. Really love the fabrics you chose. Reminds me of being cozy inside and seeing the snow falling outside.

I love these stars against the blue background. So very pretty. I also love your crowfoot quilt in the previous post. Then I went looking around some more and discovered your gorgeous applique!

Hi Janet, I'm a new blogger and have been enjoying reading other quilt blogs. I just read yours from earliest to latest post. I loved seeing all your quilts, your hand quilting and your applique. I don't see how you have time for all these projects with 4 kids! I also loved the touching stories of your past like your pin cushion and the time you and your sister tried to destroy one of your grandmother's quilts with a coat hanger so you could have a new comforter. Thanks for all the inspiring posts!
