What do you think it's supposed to be?
I know - it looks a bit like a lumpy pumpkin but...
It's supposed to be an orange :0) An orange pincushion attached to a little zippered pouch.
It was so darn cute in the pattern! I think maybe my orange scraps aren't bright enough. The lumpiness is from loading the zipper compartment with actual sewing supplies - it would probably look better stuffed with stuffing like the other half.
A friend and I went shopping at the LQS and couldn't resist the pattern. She came over on Sunday and we spent a remarkable number of hours sewing on this. We called it quits at 11:30pm and I finished mine up today.
It was a fun afternoon/evening - lots of laughter. Even though it's not exactly as cute as I thought it would be I still think it will be fun to use.
Happy Quilting!!

Oh snap, I made one too, lol. I think the same thing about the unstuffed side.
You can tell where I live...I thought it was a peach! Very cute...
I purchased that pattern, now I have to make it. Do you think putting batting on the pieces on the unstuffed side would help?
It IS very cute!
So adorable!! I love it and I think it looks great! This would be perfect for hand quilting, a spool of thread a thimble and you are all set!
Oh, think that is so cute.
It is really cute-isn't it funny how much time these "little" projects can take-cut worth it in the end.
I thought it looked like a peach :-) I think it's lovely and as long as you had a good time while you were making it then really that's all that counts :-)
How cute is that! I guessed peach, too. Whatever fruit it is, it's a winner.
I too guessed peach......it is adorable! whatever fruit it is........love it.
I love it! So cute.
That is a cute project! It does look like lots fo detail (time) - but worth it. Extra nice you made it with a friend.
