Lovely feathers! I knew you'd come up with something special for the petals :)I think I have spotted the blocks that are the same - but it took a while... Don't they look super all together?!
Your scrappy quilt is so pretty and colorful, they all go together so well. Isn't it fun to go through your scraps and find fabric you have forgotten about but really like? Your quilting is gorgeous, nothing like a quilt show to make us finish our quilts.
I too think I found the two "duplicate" blocks. I just love all those little blocks you've made! I love those little blocks and have been thinking about making a big sampler quilt ... there are so many blocks I'd like to make but not nearly enough time to make quilts from each one of those blocks. So maybe a sampler quilt is what I need to make. And I think I'll check out that book ... it would be nice to have a source for the patterns.
All those different fabric scraps work so well together. I looked but the duplicate blocks didn't pop out to me. I can see where it would be addictive to just keep sewing.
guauuuuuuuuuuuuu que bonitos.
Beautiful blocks and fantastic fabrics.Greetings, Manuela from Germany.
