one stitch at a time

I've been busy working on all the same projects.  With every stitch I make progress but it's not too exciting to post about...
I finished quilting the feathered wreaths and decided to go back to the applique areas with some fill in quilting.  This design is easily marked with masking tape and I like it - it looks a bit like a spider web.

I like how it looks from the back too :0)

I am still having fun making these pots of flowers.  Here is the latest one.  I just love this background fabric.

I have 7 made now and I prepped the 8th just this afternoon.  I haven't made a plan yet for sashing/borders.
So, as it turns out, all the same projects is still exciting for me :0)

Happy Quilting!!

Oh, I think they remain exciting to us too. Each added section of quilting brings that quilt more and more to life. Don't you just love to run your hand over it? I like all of the different backgrounds you've used for your flowers. Your garden continues to look prettier and prettier. It might be just the thing to look at when the (Snow) begins to blow. I didn't want to say it to loudly to give the weather any ideas.

Your quilting stitches are just gorgeous. What kind of batting are you using? I am in the same boat with my projects. Long term for sure but I sure love working on them.

I am in the same situation, but it's still lovely to see what progress you've made. Great quilting idea on that block, and looks good from the back too.

Your hand quilting is inspirational - love the design in that applique block! and the back is perfect too. I am afraid the back of my hand quilting does not bear close scrutiny :(

Nice progress Janet. I always like to look at the quilting on the back also.

I like the background too that has the words on it. And, Janet, your hand quilting stitches are so very good!

I'm swooning over your hand quilting. Gorgeous. I, too, would like to know what batting you use. And needles?
