The deadline for finishing the quilts bound for India was moved up so I'm glad I was able to finish getting this top together yesterday. For the border I used up lots of little scraps leftover from making the blocks.
I pretty much used them all so I'll have to figure something out for the binding. Now I have a couple of weeks to quilt it.
And the weekend isn't over - there's still holiday Monday yet... :0)
Happy Quilting!!

After seeing the whole beautiful quilt, I agree with Valentina, no leaves were necessary! Love the bright sampler quilt too. Hooray for having 2 quilts done!!

Oh my goodness Janet, what delight, what sheer delight. Your work is so pleasing to the eye and so inspiring to the quilter within. Thank you so much. This was such a good place for me to stop-off at. Feeling a little blue, down and out... ...was feeling. Now inspired. Might go sew. :)
I love the Corn and Beans. The applique sets it off like a gilt frame on a work of art! Lovely! The sampler is wonderful, too. Even better, FINISHED projects. As the commercials say, "Priceless!" :-D
Blessings,
Mary Lou
Congrats on not one, but TWO fab finishes! I'm glad the weather cooperated!
