when is enough enough?

I enjoyed making a few more 6 inch blocks in the last couple of weeks.  
 I thought I'd lay them out together for a picture since the "design floor" was available.  (the toys that often cover this space were cleaned up)
 I have 58 blocks made (only 56 in this layout)  I don't know how I will set them and I don't know how many more I will make.  I do know there will be more :0)  When is enough - enough? 
We definitely had enough of this white stuff fall this week.  We had 35 centimetres over 3 days.  Heavy and wet it caused a lot of damage to our trees and garden.  DD#3 didn't let that stop her from enjoying it.  It should melt tomorrow and hopefully stay away for a few more weeks so we can have fall.

You do beautiful piecing, this is a scrappy masterpiece in the making. Euwww, early snow storm. This cold weather snap reached all the way down to Nebraska, I had to get wool socks and a turtleneck out today. Stay warm:)

Janet these blocks are looking really great, as for when is ENOUGH you can only stop when you feel it's going to be a big enough quilt.
Setting them on point with sashing would make the whole quilt larger.

how fun snow in Sept! a bit too early even for me I love the winter. glad your DD was able to enjoy it for a few days!

We had a rare oct snow and had trees down too, it was a scarey sound.

Oh, no, not snow so soon!. I had heard your part of the world had gotten a storm already. Your blocks really look fantastic altogether with all the different colors and patterns . You'll know when you've reached the end.

Are you going to set them side by side or sashing in between? They look very eye-catching.

Snow!!??? Seriously!? but it's only September!!..you know just shy of August..which is technically summer!!! Wow! I'm shocked! Hope it's gone now...and that that weather system doesn't get any ideas about coming to the UK :o)
