lots of variety

I've been loving variety lately.  Some days, like yesterday I worked on 5 different projects.  I finished handpiecing this sunflower and I appliqued the centre onto it.  It's not perfect but I did enjoy the process by the time I got to the end.  I have more handpiecing planned :0)  This block will become part of a small wallhanging once I figure the rest out.
I pieced the last star into my Patis star project. The top isn't finished as I want to put half hexagons in along the sides and add a border all around.  The portable part of this project is now complete so I will be starting a new project with the quilt patis later this week.  I simply must have some good handwork for the beach!
This is another new project.  I bought a big piece of the blue floral a few years ago and it's been bothering me that its still sitting in a bin.  The blocks are from the book "History Repeated". Right now I think I will use the blue floral for a zigzag setting but this may change:0)  I need a lot of these blocks so there will be lots of time to think about it.
I was in the mood for these bright happy colors.  It's summer - Yahoo!

Happy Quilting!!

I just did a zig zag setting with my little scrappy sixteen patches. I love the way it turned out. What cute blocks they look good with that blue fabric.

Sunflowers - definitely a summer project - how pretty! Your blue floral fabric is also a great summer choice. And I love the way the stars are growing.

I work best with variety :) I feel so very bogged down and easily bored when I limit myself to just one project. These are all very nice ones.

My husband calls me the creative flea as I flit from one project to another. I can totally relate. You accomplished so much and I'll bet you never get bored! I love your fabric choices for the block from History Repeated. It will be a happy quilt!

Your Susan McCord quilt is stunning. I have loved that quilt for years but never thought of attempting it. I'm a chicken.
Love your doll quilts, both the one you made and received, wasn't that a fun swap?
Enjoy your sunny days!

Those definitely look like summery colors! I love those blocks but can never piece them very accurately.
Great projects!

That blue is perfect for those delightfully summery blocks. And yes, a handwork project is a must for time at the beach.

Beautiful stars! All of them. The sunflower looks like so much work and it lays so nicely. The floral blocks are lovely.
